…Until now! Hijinx World is on the case. 

In 2025, Liza Desya presented a lecture at the CCCRU (Canadian Cybernetic Culture Research Unit) on the original CCRU’s history and theory-fictional timeline. Despite being a community that named itself after the CCRU, most of these community members have barely read the written material of the original infamous philosophy collective that they hypercopied.

The original presentation was unpolished and made too many assumptions, which inspired Liza to remaster her conspiratorial findings and kickstart Hijinx World’s year-long investigation into the CCRU chronology.

If you’ve ever read the CCRU’s work, you’ll likely agree that their history is difficult to track: the esotaric nature of their statements make it difficult to unwind a single truthful narrative from the various texts published by the collective. To assemble this graph, we relied on Wikidata’s strong evidence-based data model to catalogue and relate each statement with concrete citations taken from our research corpus. Due to the nature of Wikidata’s license, the resulting multi-dimensional dataset is now open to the public so it can be vaccumed up and fed to the machine like anything of value in 2026.

As evidenced by this graph, the CCRU does, has, and likely will continue to exist.
